Rebekah Happy 14th Birthday

I think this is a pretty picture of Rebekah taken at a museum. She is at that wonderful age of 14 where Stake Dances become one of the most important days of the month. Watch out boys here she comes!!!
Rebekah loves babies. Here she is holding precious Hailey. That love of babies has gotten her a lot of babysitting jobs and will make for a wonderful Mother some day in the farrrr off future.

Rebekah has a very sweet sincere spirit about her. She knows the scriptures. She is careful to follow the church guidelines where dress standards are concerned. In this picture I think she sparkles with confidence and the light of the gospel.

I love this picture Rebekah and her cousins are out cold. I can now see why Heather never got any sleep when her children would crawl in her bed.

Three years ago we were able to have Rebekah spend some time with us during the summer. It was fun to have her all to ourselves and to get to know her better. I enjoyed teaching her how to cross-stitch. Rebekah is very giving. She had something for everyone in her family by the time she went home.

It is always so hot in Corcoran during the summers and so a dip in the YMCA pool was a great way to cool off.

Doug and Rebekah before we left for the airport.

4th of July fun with fireworks.

I love Rebekah's smile and laugh, she likes having a good time.

The Couch Family were with us on the 4th of July we went to Hanford to enjoy the fireworks display that they set to patriotic music. It is always a lot of fun.
Rebekah and Camille making crafts at our family reunion in the Sequoias. It is nice to have cousins some what close to the same age and time to spend together.

Rebekah and Heather enjoying the view of Central California on top of Morro Rock in the Sequoias.

Rebekah and the gang hiking to Silver Falls.

Here is Rebekah with cute Jade. On her birthday she chose to spend the night babysitting Jade and Tavis. I think that is great!

I feel that Rebakah and Heather have developed a sweet relationship with each other.

What a fun opportunity last Easter to spend the Saturday before with the Jamison's, Couch's, and Adamson's. We had a fun Easter Egg hunt and enjoyed just being together at the Sherwood Park.
Rebekah we appreciate the special sweet Young Women that you are and the time that we are able to spend with you. Always let your countenance shine.
Love,
Grandma and Grandpa

Happy 22nd Birthday Adam

Happy Birthday Adam!!! It is great having you in the U.S. and being able to talk to you at least once a week. We are glad that you are enjoying school and doing well.
Adam is easy going. He enjoys spending time with friends. He loves the TV shows 24 and Smallville.
He has really matured in the past two years and learned a great deal about himself and serving others.
His testimony has really been strengthened. He has learned great people skills and how to budget money.
Doug and I were shocked how he will go up to stangers and start speaking to them in Portuguese if that is what they are speaking. He use to be pretty shy about speaking to people he didn't know. Now he will go up and talk to anyone. It is great to see his confidence.
Adam we hope that you have a fun evening.

Paul Happy 25th Birthday!!!

As a birthday present we shaved a few years off. This is what you will look like in the Celestial Kingdom. We hope that you have a great birthday. We really appreciate all that you do for your family. We know that you work very hard. Hopefully you can have a few hours free of stress to relax and enjoy.
I really enjoy listening to you explain the scriptures. You explain complex subjects in very simplified terms that help your children remember and understand.
I'm looking forward to watching you do "Tubby" again. You are quite the comedian.

Bradley Happy, Happy Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Bradley!!! I love this picture.

Heather, Elizabeth, Bradley & Tricia at the Planetarium in the New Gate Mall in Salt Lake.Enjoying a stroll in Oregon. Bradley is such an easy going little boy.
He loves squirt bottles and snatches it whenever possible from his mother.

Better watch out he has learned how to use the keys. He'll be driving before we know it.

Fun with Myles (Allyson's son) and Rachel (Heather daughter's nice looking legs) in the sandpile in his backyard.

Karl Adamson Family Reunion: Bradley with having fun with swimming with his mother. Camille is in front and Robert Adamson and his baby in the back. Mary Ann your pool was a hit.

Jade (Jared's daughter) and Bradley. It is fun having cousins so close in age. I loved watching them play together in Oregon. I wish I could get the video to work. They were so funny.

Time for a New Look

Today I decided to try a new look and I had my hair highlighted. I really like it. It looks better in person.
I also ate my first containter of yogurt. You have to understand that the thought of drinking milk repulses me and yogurt reminds me of sour milk. I had started with yogurt ice cream, braved McDonald's yogurt parfait, and Doug had me taste one of the new kinds of yogurt. I liked it and today I tried apple pie yogurt with a little granola and I enjoyed it. I'm always looking for ways to improve my calcium intake. NEW FIRSTS!!!

Great Moments With Our Precious Tanner

Tanner is all boy, sports, water, sand, games, you name it if it is good clean (is that the right word for this picture)
fun.

Doug teaching the Beck children how to play "Pick-Up Sticks", a fun game we use to play as children.

Tanner is a wonderful grandson. He loves sports of all kinds. He is enjoying Cub Scouts and learning new things. He is loving, kind and can be a great help. He loves games of all kinds and sings very well. My favorite song I have heard him sing was the "BYU Fight Song". Tanner and Camille had the song and all of the actions down very well when they were very young.
Tanner loves going with his father to BYU football games and having dates with his mother. This summer he discovered fishing and loves the great outdoors.
As a family he has the opportunity of going many places to learn more about his ancestors and his summers are spent at many great family reunions.
I love you Tanner with all of my heart.
This picture was taken at our family reunion last summer.
Tanner and Camille in swimming lessons a few years ago. It was fun to watch them as they learned.

Most of our grandson's. Tanner fits perfectly into this mix. They all enjoy having a good time playing games together.

Johnathan, Camille, and Tanner at Liberty Park. What a fun place to go and enjoy our grandchildren.

Our get together's are full of fun and laughter. This one of those silly moments. I think Tanner's silly face is awesome.

Before Myles (Allyson son's) first birthday, the Beck's, Jamison's, Ashby's, Mark, Doug, and I all met at the park for some great fun. I believe that Tanner loved this fun time with cousins.

Tanner on the smallest skateboard that I have ever seen. Tanner enjoys trying new things and picks them up very quickly.

We went to Heritage Park, which is at the "This is the Place Monument" in Salt Lake. Tanner and his family slept in a tepee at one of their family reunions earlier in the year and seeing this tent at Heritage Park reminded them of this fun experience.

The Beck's went to the State Fair and bought this fun bottle rocket contraption. For Family Home Evening we enjoyed watching every one take turns seeing how high they could launch it.

Tanner's went up, up,up and away.

Tanner loves baseball and enjoyed playing it with his cousins and uncles when we went to the Sequoias

Tanner slip-sliding away! The little girl is Hailey (Janessa's daughter).

Tanner at the Sequoias. I love his smile.

Tanner and Adam feeding the ducks at Liberty Park. Most of the time the simple no cost things we can do are the best. We had a great time enjoying the ducks.

Tanner, Tricia, and Johnathan hammering designs into leather at Heritage Park. We went on the 4th of July and it was a wonderful hands-on opportunity for the children. What a great learning experience.

Tanner, Carter and Parker

Tanner and Camille are making a rope like they did in the days of the pioneers.

Teeter-Totters what a great invention. I use to spend hours on one with my cousins in Rupert, Idaho. Here Tanner and Camille are enjoying this great invention at Liberty Park.

Michael (Heather's son) and Tanner being adventurous at the Sequoias.

Tanner at swim lessons. He loves being in the water.

A replica of a fire house in the days of the pioneers. Can you find Tanner?

Life is not all about being serious. Tanner and Parker can really make you laugh with their silly faces they can pull. Here we are at Thanksgiving Point in Utah. It is beautiful there.

Josh (Heather's son) and Tanner at the Sequoias. We had a great adventure while the cousins got to have some bonding time.

Tanner and Adam in the Beck's backyard. Tanner you are greatly loved by many.

It was a special privilege to be at Tanner's baptism. What a special day and baptism. Thanks for letting us share it with you. I know it is tricky to work around times when we can make it over to Utah.

Karl Adamson Family Reunion at Mary Ann's house. Tanner was in heaven on the slide and diving board.

We are so grateful to have you as part of our family, Tanner. It is fun to watch you grow and mature. We think of you often.

Love,

Grandpa and Grandma
