I know that some of our past Corcoran Branch members are looking at this sight and I thought that I would show you some pictures of our Young Women.
This was our New Beginnings.

This was quite the day. Linda, Doug and I went to get things ready right after school. I'm so glad that we went early. We walked into the Relief Society room where we planned to have our program and the closet doors were open and a huge cable coming out one of the doors. The room had the strangest smell. The cable was for a new sound system that was being installed. The cultural hall had all kinds of equipment in there. We quickly moved to the Primary room.
It turned out to be a wonderful evening. Sister Bower's shared the story of how the Personal Progress Program came to be. If you haven't heard that story it is worth looking for. I think it is in a book by Ardeth Kapp. It is so inspired and such a blessing to all Young Women throughout the world.

Nice photos and writeups about your YW happenings. We had new beginnings with Becca the first part of this month, too. She is the oldest active YW right now, so has much responsibility in the way of conducting meetings, planning, calling, organizing, etc. You and Linda look GREAT!
We are doing the same kind of New Beginnings. We called ours "Back to the Future" becaue we are looking back to see how Young Womens began and how far it has come. My has Corcoran ever changed since I was in Young Womens.
What beautiful daughters of God. I have a calling in YW's right now as well. Who would have ever thought? We had a great combined activity this past week. We did a murder mystery dinner. It was a lot of fun. I have really come to love the sweet girls in my Mia Maid class and I think that I learn more from them than they will ever learn from me. Glad to see you are doing well.
I'm sure that you are an amazing Mia Maid leader. You have a beautiful spirit and I know that you can bless many lives.
