Doug and I had the privilege of going to Roots Tech 2015.
Don Anderson a friend of Mark's gave us a Special pass. He worked for
Family Search as one of the top four in the company. As we went into the
big Expo Hall there were missionaries from Family Search asking if we would be
interested in serving a Family History Service Mission. I had wanted to
serve a Family History mission for many years. Now was our opportunity to
do it. We signed up to serve at the Riverton Family Search Library.
It is straight down Bangater Highway and very easy to get to.
While at Roots Tech we saw Greg and Pat Lundeen. We had been
to dinner with them a few days before. It is great having them live close
by.
The classes were wonderful. They were very inspirational.
I was ready to jump right into this mission.
We really enjoyed hearing a concert by Alex Boye and a wonderful
Children's Choir. They are all so talented. The director was so fun
to watch. He looked like he loved every minute of working with this
children's choir. They were amazing!
We couldn't believe how many people were there! It was
really tricky to get into the classes. The rooms were huge but filled up
very quickly. We were inspired and learned a great deal.

our hearts turn to our ancestors, something changes inside us. We feel part of
something greater than ourselves." ~ Russell M. Nelson
