Heather & Paul at the reception just before they needed to head home.

Jennifer & Wes (Sorry these are not the best pictures but are all we have. We enjoyed seeing them sealed & a wonderful luncheon where we go to know Jen better, earlier that day.)

They really are a very cute couple.

Some of the Highlights of the Salt Lake Cemetary

Memorial for Hyrum Smith with the Beck family

Memorial for Pres. Hinckley

Bradley showing the memorial for Pres. Harold B. Lee.
It is amazing to see so many markers for I believe 10 Prophets and many other church leaders that we have come to love and appreciate.
We even found one of my relatives, Roy Darley. He played the organ for special groups in the tabernacle for many years.
I could have wandered around that cemetery all day.

Fun at Liberty Park

Rose and Myles enjoying the birds at Tracy Aviary. I think this was Rose's favorite part of the day she was very excited to see all of the birds and watch them fly.
Ally, Doug, Rose and Myles enjoying a rest.
Myles loved feeding the ducks and birds.
He also loved the water.

We enjoyed the program for Aunt Dawna & Friends

We enjoyed the special program that Doug's brother Rob set up for the home that Aunt Dawna lives. Rob & Sharyl children sang several songs and Sara played the violin and Zach played the piano. They are very accomplished musicians.

Tricia's 5 oldest children sang. It was very precious and loved by the Elderly. They all sing very well. I'm glad that we were able to be there. Tricia played the piano for some of her children's songs, it was fun to hear her play songs we remember her playing at home such as "Castle on a Cloud" from Les Mis. Camille sang it beautifully.

Aunt Dawna and two of her friends, they were all so sweet and love Aunt Dawna like we do.

Jay, Doug and Rob with Aunt Dawna after the program. She was smiling except in pictures.

We Made it!!!

Finally we were able to stop by my Aunt Lola and Uncle Mike Yearout's home. They live in Springfield, Oregon. We had a wonderful time visiting and catching up on how everyone is doing. I enjoyed learning more about my Grandpa Darley.Posted by Picasa

Summer is a Time to Renew

"Our Father in Heaven, who loves His children, desires for them that which will bring them happiness now and in the eternities to come, and there is no greater happiness than is found in the most meaningful of all human relationships--the companionships of husband and wife and parents and children."
Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley

The wheelbarrows made for a lot of fun.
There was also tag, Capture the log, Red Rover, great talent show, delicious food, family history game, hikes,
celebrating the birth of our nation watching a spectacular fireworks show,
and a lot of fun catching up and renewing our relationships with each other.
Elizabeth, Rebekah, Camille

It was Jared's turn to organize our reunion. I'm sure at times in the past six months he has wanted to pull his hair out but it turned out great.

I missed getting a picture of Mitchell's before he shaved it off.
They are very pleased at how they are coming along.
Beautiful entrance into camp.

Roasting marsmallows was one of their favorite things to do. I think we went through 3 whole bags in 2 days. They were delcious.
Johnathan, Tanner, Parker, and Ashley

It wouldn't be an Adamson get together without the teasing.

Lindsay, Rachel, Rebecca holding Jade, Camille holding Rose, Ashley, Elizabeth holding Hailey.
LOTS OF FUN!!!
We missed Mark and Lilly who were at Jeff Kwast's wedding in Belize and Adam in Portugal on his mission. We look forward to having us all together next summer.
Family Reunions are great!
