Congratulations Dallin on acceptance to the University of Utah. We hope that you enjoy your experience there as much as we did when Doug was going there.
Dallin will be working towards his Entomology degree which is the scientific study of insects.
Love the design on your blog. I'll have to check out the site. That's a cool degree. My girls are really into insects right now. They are always bringing me something new and interesting.
Dallin loves everything that crawls. They now have a pet trantula sp?. My friends father had the same degree and they had everything he could get but snakes, Yuck! Butterflies would be cool.
Patty, I love the picture of you and Doug in your header. Your family is amazing! Your grandchildren are darling. When are you guys going to retire? Are you planning on moving away from Corcoran when you do?
Honestly we plan to go on a mission and that is our plans so far. We hope to retire in 4 years but Jared said you can make it 7 more can't you? Our plan has always been to work as long as Doug was healthy. We have been greatly blessed. We think casually about retirement but where to live we don't know. When we are in Utah I would like to live in a small town not too far from an airport. When we are in Oregon I would like to live in a rural area that we could afford and enjoy all of the beautiful nature. Then when we are in Corcoran we are pretty content. I love this little rural city and the people in it. We are just missing two major things, family and more active church members. So we are still undecided. How about you? Did you notice that Nyla Chandler has a link on Heather's blog. I'm excited to read about how she is doing. We sure have and had amazing Young Women in Corcoran. There blogs inspire and amaze me. Your daughters have been great inspiration to me. I'd love to see your picture of Elison's.
